About

My name is Landon Koster and I am a finance major at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I have always been passionate about different topics within the personal finance world: from investing strategies to the basics of financial literacy and savings, I am always curious to learn more and share my knowledge about these topics with my peers and other young adults who may be looking for tips, tricks, or just basic financial advice.

My love of personal finance started when I began mowing lawns in the sixth grade. By earning cash during the summers, I was forced to learn what it meant to be thrifty (especially when I was out of a job during the long Minnesota winters). I learned to love investing and putting my money to good use rather than spending my cash as soon as it hit my hands. In this blog, I intend to help inform and impart what I have learned on my journey about the basics and nuances of investing, money management, and other miscellaneous things relating to these topics.
